HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY

Be gentle with your pieces. Reaso jewelery is well crafted and can be enjoyed for years if cared for properly.

Silver as a material is prone to tarnish and scratches. To minimize prolonged exposure to tarnishing moisture and  chemicals, we recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising. When not being worn, it’s best to store your jewelry in its box.

Wearing your jewellery often can actually prevent tarnishing of the silver, so we recommend that you enjoy and wear your jewelry every day.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR JEWELRY

To clean your jewellery, follow these steps:

Step 1. Mix lukewarm water and dish soap in a container.

Step 2. Put the jewellery in the water for 5 minutes.

Step 3. Use a soft cloth or your fingers to gently polish the surface of the jewellery (you can use more dish soap while polishing).

Step 4. Rinse the jewellery thoroughly in clean water and dry it with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid using paper as it may scratch the surface.

 

If you notice light signs of oxidation,

take a silver polishing cloth and gently rub the affected area until it is gone.

If the jewellery has heavy signs of oxidation, do not put the piece in a silver cleaning solution. Instead, 

Step 1. Dip a polishing cloth into the solution and rub it on the affected areas. Remember not to use the silver cleaning solution on pearls, rubber, stones or other delicate elements. 

Step 2. After cleaning, rinse the jewellery in clean water to remove any leftover chemicals.
